Network for Equal Pay and Gender Equality in the Labour Market
EQUAL PAY and GENDER EQUALITY in the LABOUR MARKET
KLARA! is committed to equal pay and gender equality in
the labour market!
Equal Pay means that women and men should be paid the
same for comparable work.
Gender equality in the labour market implies that women and men have the
same level of integration in the labour market, that jobs securing the
subsistence are open to both genders and that women and men have equal
access to all occupations and employment positions.

In the Development Partnership KLARA!, public institutions and
non-profit asssociations cooparate in establishing a nationwide network to
achieve a more balanced income situation.

- Public Relations Work: Exhibition on tour, freecards, movie, website,
newsletter, press contacts
- Equal Pay Course:
A further training programme for 17 multipliers who want to learn more about
how to reduce income differences
- Establishing Regional Gender Pools: Supporting women’s organisations to
strengthen their position in the field of Gender and Equal Pay
- Mentoring Programme for women with migration experience: Empowering
women from other cultures to improve their job and income opportunities

Working groups focusing on equal pay and gender equality: A nationwide
forum of experts who discuss equality policy measures and strategies aiming
at a more equitable income situation
